This thesis presents an analysis of transonic potential flow through an oscillating unstaggered thin plate cascade. A collection technique is used involving the superposition of adjacent blade "isolated foil" potentials with interference potentials of unknown strength. Imposition of flow tangency requirements leads to integral equations for the unknown source distributions of the interference coefficients for the steady and oscillating cases.
The steady case is extended to the determination of the potentials along the blade and compares favorably with a parallel solution using a Laplace transform approach to the sonic wind tunnel wall interference problem.
