dc.description.abstractThe reaction of cis-dichlorodiamminepalladium(II) with ammonia: cis-Pd(NH3)2Cl2 to Pd(NH3)3Cl(+) to Pd(NH3)4(2+) Pd(NH3)4(+2) was studied over the temperature range 10-21C using ultraviolet spectroscopy. Slow and fast steps are identified and the observed rate constants for these steps were obtained. Using these values, comparisons are drawn with previously reported data.en_US
