Abstract
This interactive tutorial covers the following: The effect of desired signal amplitude A on the probability density function (pdf) of the receiver output X., The effect of the probability of false alarm on the detection threshold. , Determination of the receiver operating characteristics for a given value of A.The interactions in this tutorial include changing the values of variations and observing the corresponding output values and graphical trends.
