A magnetic tape library system for Computer Science Department NPGS; requirements analysis, design, and implementation

This thesis describes the development of a magnetic tape library system (TLS) for the Computer Science Department of the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California. The TLS was developed using the Ingress VN UNIX Version 2.1/15 VE.04 database management system on the 4,2 BSD UNIX operating system. The thesis includes a requirements analysis and design, and a description of implementation.
