dc.description.abstractImage navigation is critical to the effective use of digital imagery for meteorological and oceanographic studies. This thesis reviews various methods used to navigate imagery to the earth and investigates the accuracy of the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) model. An explanation of how the NPS navigation process works is included for completeness. Results from 2 2 separate runs of the NPS model are studied.en_US
