dc.description.abstractAn analysis of fin-line characteristics is presented. The dispersion characteristic and characteristic impedance of the structure are determined by the application of the spectral domain technique. Numerical results are presented and compared with known data for ridged waveguide, dielectric slab loaded waveguide and slotline. Excellent agreement has been obtained. Design curves are also presented for practical millimeter wave fin-line structures covering the 26.5 - 140Hz frequency range. (Author)en_US
