Specifications for the production of ocean wave statistics for the California coast from FNWC singular wave analyses
Abstract
Specifications are presented for the production of ocean wave statistics for
the California coast from approximately 28 years of archived synoptic wave
analyses computed by the Fleet Numerical Weather Central, Monterey, California.
The wave statistics, designed for coastal engineering application,
would be prepared for six deep-water stations uniformly spaced along the
coast from the Oregon border to the Mexico border, and would be prepared in
the form of desk-top copy immediately available for use.
