Abstract
The principal thrust of the exploratory development program
at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) stems from the School's
mission:
To conduct and direct advanced education of
commissioned officers, and to provide such
other technical and professional instruction
as may be prescribed to meet the needs of the
Naval Service; and in support of the foregoing
to foster and encourage a program of research
in order to sustain academic excellence.
