An examination is made of the submarine versus submarine engagement model SUBSUB. gagements are modelled from search through detection, classification, localization, osure, attack and counterattack. The submarine missions considered are barrier trol , area patrol and transit. The version of SUBSUB examined runs on an IBM-PC crocomputer. Other versions exist which operate on larger computers.
