Three position estimation procedures (Revised)
Abstract
The report describes three position estimation procedures. The first is estimates based on bearings taken on or from stations with uncertain locations. The second is for use with two or more lines of position. The third is for combining estimates from different sources. The initial version of the report contained an error in a relation relating to the third procedure. Appendicies to the report contain a description and listing for a program that can be used to implement the first two procedures and for a program to implement the third procedure. Keywords: Position finding; Navigation; PEST computer program; and COMP computer program. (Author)
