dc.description.abstractCurrent Battle Command (BC), Embedded Training (ET), and modeling and simulation (M&S) decision support systems do not share a common representation of the environment or many analysis services, including those associated with tactical maneuver data. The battlespace Common Operational Picture (COP) is therefore inconsistent across these systems, potentially leading to severe consequences from incorrect decisions about maneuver potential during training, planning, and execution of operations. True commonality is needed to enable the Army’s Future Force and Future Combat Systems (FCS) by facilitating seamless transition between BC/Command and Control (C2) and models and simulations which are at the core of ET and decision support.en_US
