dc.description.abstractThis thesis classifies the current processes and procedures of the China Lake Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division's (NAWCWPNS) small purchase system, identifies inefficiencies in the process and shows where Business Process Reengineering (BPR) methodology can be utilized. A background in acquisition reform and Business Process Reengineering is provided. Additionally, this thesis conducts an analysis of the small purchase process and provides recommendations for improvement. If implemented, the recommendations will lead to improved efficiency and service to the small purchase customer.en_US
