dc.description.abstractCapt. Cedric Pringle graduated from Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) with a Master’s Degree in National Security Strategy in 1998 and recently returned to the state as Executive Officer, and soon to be Commanding Officer, of the amphibious assault ship, USS Makin Island (LHD 8). Pringle successfully led the crew and embarked Marine Corps contingent totaling more than 3,000 service members from the ship’s San Diego homeport to San Francisco Bay for the annual San Francisco Fleet Week festivities.en_US
