This thesis presents a detailed study of the fundamentals of modern naval surface missile combat and, though the vehicles of combat modeling, simulation, and quantitative analysis, describes a method of evaluating tactics. It establishes three basic laws of naval combat, test the theory that undergirds the laws against a data set, and provides a thorough analysis of the results.
