dc.description.abstractThis thesis introduces the effect of the loss to the homogeneous finline strip model. The expressions for the Quality Factors associated with the ohmic losses for inductive strips in homogeneous finline are derived and included in the CAD compatible circuit model in terms of the finite Q inductances. It is shown that the lossy circuit models more accurately predict the experimental response of an X band finline filter.en_US
