This edition of the Your Town Television Program features Dr. Douglas A. Hensler, Naval Postgraduate School Provost. Prior to his appointment by the Secretary of the Navy, Hensler was dean of the School of Business at Wichita State University. He also served as dean of the School of Business at California State University, Fresno and was the W. Edwards Deming Distinguished Professor of Management at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a licensed professional engineer with a BSE in aerospace and mechanical sciences from Princeton University, an MBA from the University of Portland, and a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Washington. He is the 14th provost in NPS history since Congress established the position in 1947.
