Abstract
The 1st NPS Cyber Summit was held at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California on October 29, 2009. Sessions were held on the following topics: security requirements, Kerchkoffs' principle, mathematics of cybersecurity, the data encryption standard, nonlinear equations, Cyber attacks on Bluetooth EQ, Crypto properties of S-boxes, FPGA vs. pc compputational complexity and advanced encryptions standards (AES).
