Abstract
Pakistan is passing through an extremely delicate phase in its history. Recent instability in Pakistan, including the

Swat Valley. As military and Taliban forces fight in the rugged tribal terrain, several Western analysts have raised
concerns about the future of nuclear Pakistan.
