The NPS Surveillance Patrol Planner is a decision support tool to optimize patrol routes. The decision support tool integrates a graphical user interface that allows the users to create and load their own patrol scenarios, and renders real-world map by adopting theWorld Wind Application developed by NASA. It is a stand-alone decision and training tool written in Java, so it runs on both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X systems.
