Enhancement of the point-spread function for imaging in scattering media by use of polarization-difference imaging Tyo, J. Scott (2000-01);Polarization-difference (PD) imaging techniques have been demonstrated to improve the detectability of target features that are embedded in scattering media. The improved detectability occurs for both passive imaging in ...
Ng Chee Yong (Monterey, California: Naval Postgraduate School, 2009);In this thesis, we study the new imaging theory developed by Cheney and Borden that incorporates target motion during data collection for the imaging process. The subject of radar imaging from scattered waves is explored ...
Detection of 3.4 THz radiation from a quantum cascade laser using a microbolometer infrared camera Karunasiri, Gamani; Chamberlain, Danielle; Behnken, Barry N.; Lowe, Michele; Robrish, Peter (SPIE, 2007-05);The THz wavelengths cover the frequency range of 0.1-10 THz or 30-3000 μm wavelength band. Currently, detection of THz radiation is carried out using either antenna-coupled semiconductor detectors or superconducting ...
