Abstract
The capability of the CLEAN algorithm, which is able to develop image information corresponding to spatial frequencies for which the imaging systems optical transfer function (OTF) is equal to zero, is shown to be dependent on the limited size of the object being imaged. It is found that this capability is available without a severe signal-to-noise-ratio penalty only for the recovery of a spatial frequency that is sufficiently close to some other spatial frequency for which the OTF is not equal to zero. As used here the term sufficiently close means that the magnitude of the separation of the spatial frequencies is less than one half of the inverse of the size of the object being imaged. This represents a limitation of CLEANà à à à ¢ s capability deriving from object size. It is suggested that this capability can be thought of in terms of superresolution, with the same limitation in regard to object size.

The export option will allow you to export the current search results of the entered query to a file. Different formats are available for download. To export the items, click on the button corresponding with the preferred download format.

A logged-in user can export up to 15000 items. If you're not logged in, you can export no more than 500 items.

To select a subset of the search results, click "Selective Export" button and make a selection of the items you want to export. The amount of items that can be exported at once is similarly restricted as the full export.

After making a selection, click one of the export format buttons. The amount of items that will be exported is indicated in the bubble next to export format.
