Multiplexed imaging by means of optically generated Kronecker products: 1. The basic concept
Abstract
A technique for multiplexed imaging is described. By using mask combinations, this technique requires
far fewer encoding masks to generate the same number of masking operations than do more traditional
approaches. It is also theoretically capable of higher optical throughput efficiencies. The method is
readily adaptable to new image geometries and to applications in multispectral imaging.
