American Meteorology Society (AMS) 13th Symposium on Education
The Cooperative Program for Operational Meteorology Education and Training resides within the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) to serve as a training and education bridge between meteorology research and operations. Since our inception in 1989, The COMET Program has had continuous sponsorship from both the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command and the Air Force Weather Agency. More recently, we have also partnered with the Naval Technical Training Unit (NTTU) to create meteorology educational materials to benefit their meteorology school at Keesler Air Force Base (AFB) in Mississippi.en_US
