This collection was donated to the Special Collections and Archives (SCA) section of the Naval Postgraduate School’s (NPS) Dudley Knox Library (DKL) in 2014. The collection consists of original and photocopied photographs, documents, and books by or related to Professor Claude A. Buss.
The Claude Albert Buss Collection contains a number of items owned by or pertaining to Professor Claude Buss. These items include photographs, newspaper clippings, personal correspondence, interview transcripts, official documents and other assorted documents, and date from 1929 to Professor Buss’s death in 1998. The collection, which is arranged by subject, includes personal scrapbooks, letters from President Franklin Roosevelt and President Manuel Quezon, and copies of many of the books and articles written by Professor Buss. It also contains a selective bibliography compiled by Greta Marlatt.
