Corporate executives attempt to educate investment analysts about their company’s potential as an investment option by providing traditional financial and supplemental information. As an example, the Spanish companies examined by Garcia-meca et al. (2007) typically disclose information regarding strategy, customers, business processes, and intellectual capital in regular presentations to sell-side analysts.
