NPS Defense Energy Program Presents: NPS Defense Energy Seminar, Will We Run Out of Energy or Other Resources? with Dr. Dave HendersonMany people fear that we will run out of resources. As long as resources are privately owned, we are highly unlikely to run out. It is possible that our consumption of some important energy resources, such as oil, will diminish. But if that happens, it is likely to be because substitutes are more attractive. In this talk, I will mention a famous bet on running out of our resources and a bet of $10,000 that I proposed to Paul Krugman that he did not accept.
