Investigation of E0, E1, E2, E3, and E4 giant resonances in the N=82 nucleus 140Ce between 4 and 48 MeV excitation energy with inelastic electron scattering

Hass, Hubert; Meyer, Daniel Harry; Buskirk, Fred R.; Dyer, J. N.; Pitthan, R. (Monterey, California, Naval Postgraduate School, 1978)
natCe (89% 140Ce) has been measured with electrons of 80 and 92 MeV at 90 and 105* between 4 and 48 MeV excitation energy. The 9 resonances or resonance-like structures identified at E = 6 (31 A-1/3) MeV were classified ...

Sound speed dispersion and fluctuations in the upper ocean : project BASS

Medwin, Herman (Monterey, California. Naval Postgraduate School, 1973-10-31); NPS-61Md73101A
Simultaneous measurements of ocean microstructure and sound phase shift from a stable platform in Bass Strait, Australia, have provided new relations between the statistics of the medium and the statistics of the local ...

Predicting sound phase and amplitude fluctuations due to microstructure in the upper ocean

Medwin, Herman (Monterey, California. Naval Postgraduate School, 1973-11-15); NPS-61MD73111A
The temporal and spatial variations of the index of refraction cause fluctuations of sound phase and amplitude that can be completely understood only by defining the index in terms of the duration, location, range and time ...

Coherent and incoherent components of sound scattered at a time dependent rough surface

Clay, Clarence Samuel (Monterey, California. Naval Postgraduate School, 1972-12-31); NPS-61MD72121A
Theoretical expressions are derived for the sound scattered at a time-dependent rough surface. The calculations are made for a Gaussian shaded source transducer and point receiver. The Helmholtz theorem and Fresnel ...

Bubble transport theory with application to the upper ocean

Garrettson, Garrett A. (Monterey, California. Naval Postgraduate School, 1973-04-06); NPS-61Gr73041A
The formalism of transport theory is adapted to a general description of bubble populations in a moving fluid. The bubble distribution, as a function of position, velocity, radius, and time, satisfies a Boltzmann type ...

Altitude dependence of CT2 over the ocean

Fairall, C.W.; Markson, Ralph; Sedlacek, Jan (Monterey, California. Naval Postgraduate School, 1977-10-01); NPS-61Fr77101
The height dependence of the temperature structure parameter was measured with microthermal sensors mounted on a light aircraft. This work was done in conjunction with optical propagation and turbulent transport research ...

Export search results

The export option will allow you to export the current search results of the entered query to a file. Different formats are available for download. To export the items, click on the button corresponding with the preferred download format.

A logged-in user can export up to 15000 items. If you're not logged in, you can export no more than 500 items.

To select a subset of the search results, click "Selective Export" button and make a selection of the items you want to export. The amount of items that can be exported at once is similarly restricted as the full export.

After making a selection, click one of the export format buttons. The amount of items that will be exported is indicated in the bubble next to export format.
