Manager's role in technology transfer

The objectives of this article are to assist managers to understand the complexities inherent in the transfer of technology, and contribute to the enhancement of managerial capabilities for handling matters related to the management of innovation and change. No specific procedural descriptions of plans or processes are provided. Rather, concepts are presented and described which should increase a manager's understanding of the intricacies involved in innovation and the possible approaches which might be taken. 25 references.
