Heats of Formation of α-Phase Silver-Cadmium Alloys

Heats of formation at 308 deg K were determined for a series of alloys covering the alpha phase of the cadmium- silver alloy system. The data are well represented by a regular solution equation with an added short-range order term except near the alpha-phase boundary where there is a positive energy effect. (auth)
