MBA Professional Projecten_US
The Air Force has found itself expanding contracted services at the installation level due to a decrease in manpower across several specialties. These additional requirements demand surveillance, but also bring into light the effectiveness of contracting officer representatives (COR) when dealing with complex services. The intent of this project is to analyze whether the COR experience, training, and surveillance frequency have an impact on contractor performance. This analysis includes a review of COR training and experience retrieved from the Contracting Officer Representative Tracking Tool (CORTT). Moreover, it includes a review of Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP) and the frequency of reports in the same system. It also includes a review of policy surrounding surveillance, training, and experience requirements. Finally, the results are compared with Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) data that states the performance of service contracts. The intent is to determine whether statistically significant relationships exist between quality assurance programs and contractor performance.en_US
