Extracts from an address at the opening exercises of the Post-Graduate School, at Annapolis, Md., Thursday night, June 12, 1919.The Post-Graduate School at Annapolis, which was suspended during the war, is now resuming its courses . This school was established a few years ago for officers of the Navy who desire to become expert in the design of the various types of engines and machinery used in fighting ships. The courses given include design of steam, electric, and gas machinery, as well as guns and their accessories.
