This thesis investigates the feasibility of automating
the design of microprocessor-based digital filters. The
ability of a prototype design system to successfully produce
filter realizations is tested. General filter structures and
programming algorithms are presented. Shortcomings in the
current version of the design system are determined.
Modifications are made as required to support digital filter
realizations. The feasibility of filter generation is
demonstrated using realistic examples taken from the
literature.

Analysis and design of a water purification system for the West African Area of Operation
Ezedike, Jude C. (Monterey, California: Naval Postgraduate School, 2016-12);The borehole water system (BWS) in West Africa has capability gaps in the area of detection and monitoring of chemical compounds, filtration, and disinfection of potable water. As a result, there is not enough potable water ... -
Towards Systematic Design of Enterprise Networks
Sung, Y.; Rao, S.; Maltz, D.; Xie, Geoffrey (2008-12);Enterprise networks are important, with size and complexity even surpassing carrier networks. Yet, the design of enterprise networks remains ad hoc and poorly understood. In this paper, we show how a systematic design ... -
