The determination of Navy graduate school quotas
Abstract
The paper presents both steady state and transient models for the determination of graduate education inputs (quotas) to meet forecasted future P-code requirements. Methods of smoothing fluctuating quotas are given. The pitfalls in the use of inventory/billet ratios are discussed, and comments are made on P-code requirements determination. Interactive computer programs written in APL are fully described in an Appendix
