dc.description.abstractThis thesis discusses the major problems associated with the development of any reasonably accurate radar bomb scoring system and the resulting rationale for selecting a computer controlled tactical bombing system to perform the bomb scoring function. A scoring system is proposed which utilizes observed deviations from desired release conditions as the basis for predicting bomb impact. Circular Error Probable is then estimated using a noncentral chi-square distribution model. A sample table of CEP as a function of estimated point of impact is included.en_US
