Air Force enrollment sets new record
Abstract
Following a 2002 memorandum of agreement between the secretaries of the Navy and Air Force forming a new educational alliance between the services, the number of Air Force students at the Naval Postgraduate School has steadily increased. That surge is due primarily to two factors: a boost in general quota Air Force officers assigned to NPS and an increase in the number of majors and some captains who select NPS under the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) Intermediate Development Education (IDE) Program.
