Maintenance Problems in Military Software Systems
Abstract
This paper presents the distinguishing characteristics of military software systems and the main issues that arise in their maintenance. Properties that distinguish between military systems and other types of software, and aspects of the maintenance problems specific to military applications are emphasized. We suggest an approach for solving these problems and identify the requirements for an engineering database system for addressing these problems.
