Global Center for Security Cooperation homepage
Abstract
The Global Center supports and coordinates the activities of
the five Regional Centers and members of the Global Center
consortium. The GCSC is a functional element of the Defense
Security Cooperation Agency to enhance OSD policy
dissemination and to increase awareness of DoD international
partner education and training resources.
The GCSC maintains a common operating picture for the
Regional Centers and consortium members by providing a
consolidated events calendar, student management system,
curriculum reviews, reporting functions, and databases of
subject matter experts and lessons learned & best practices.
All of these functions are available to supported activities
through a password-protected internet site, using the
GlobalNet system. All of these functions provide the
consortium members, and RCSSs and their Combatant
Commands added capacity and one-stop shopping for educational programs and resources.
